Louche is a condensed, high contrast display typeface best suited for headlines and short paragraphs set large. It started as an exploration into ways in which a typeface could evoke a sense of italic without having an actual slope. This idea manifested in an unorthodox modulation and rotating counter shapes. Originally part of Louhi’s t]m final project in the Hague.

Louche is currently in a work-in-progress state. It can be licensed as a whole family through Future Fonts. You will receive all future updates for free.
